My new portafilter arrived
Yep, my additional Phillips Baristina portafilter arrived at the house this weekend. I purchased the portafilter from the Encompass website, and it was not listed under the label I expected to see [1]. It is listed as the Saeco portafilter in charcoal grey and notes that it works with the Phillips Baristina model BAR300 under the comparable models section. You can see by the photo of the box that it clearly is the Phillips Baristina portafilter replacement that I wanted. My big plan is to have two of these things so that I can make two shots back to back without having to stop and clean the portafilter during my morning routine. That might seem to be a little bit ridiculous, but let me assure you that it makes complete and total sense to me, and that is how I ended up with two portafilter devices.
