Collecting guitar pedals
We just hit the point in the Stargate SG-1 saga where the replicators have shown up and things are getting wild. In honor of this tremendous moment in the series, I thought it would be a good time to take a moment and talk about collecting guitar pedals. For the most part, my collection of guitar pedals was pretty good, then I sold a bunch of them on eBay a few years back. Currently, my focus is on collecting Buffalo FX pedals mostly from Reverb. My primary search is just for “buffalo fx” in quotes with sorting by price [1]. That for the most part always yields a few results and things go up and down in price like anything else. In reality, thousands of these handmade Steve Painter Buffalo FX guitar pedals are floating around the world. Some of them have the original box and some of them have long since been separated from that cardboard container. Mostly guitarists and musicians sell things on Reverb and I have never had any issues with buying guitar pedals from that marketplace.

My collection of Buffalo FX pedals includes 4 distinct guitar pedals including the Germanium Fuzz, Propeller, Carrera Overdrive, and Evolution. You can check out the sweet gallery above that includes a few photos of them if you are curious.
