Whoa — I sat down to write with some extreme efficiency this morning. Two shot of Starbucks espresso roast were processed through my Nespresso Expert machine. They started the day off the right way. However, that was not enough to jump start my writing experience for the day. That is pretty much the way I look at things. The blank page is open to adventure. Pretty much the only thing missing is the application of a little bit of effort. The blank page mixed with a little bit of effort can be transformative. For me I look at writing as a transformative experience in and of itself. The process of writing is the true adventure. That is why sitting down to write with some extreme efficiency and ended up kicking the proverbial rock down the intellectual road is so frustrating. This is not a strange form of procrastination it is unfortunately in between procrastination and productivity.
Extreme writing efficiency
