Next week’s Google event could be epic. Rumors are swirling online about the types of hardware that might be released. I have been looking forward to getting a new phone for a few months now. The Motorola Nexus 6 was a decent phone that just did not hold up very well over time. Joni had two of them suffer outright power failures and I managed to decimate one phone. Overall we have owned 4 or 5 of them. It was the first phone I ever dropped. It was not an exciting moment. I have owned a lot of cellular phones over the years. Dropping one was not something I ever wanted to do. The Motorola Nexus 6 can get a little slick without a case on it. That lead to a scary moment in the garage. I felt the phone slip out of mf hand. The sound of it hitting the floor echoed throughout the room. A moment of sadness occurred after that. My repair experience with Motorola was decent enough. We paid a deposit and sent the phone back. The folks over at Motorola sent a replacement unit out. That worked out well enough. I’m still using the refurbished phone and it has worked fine.
Thinking about getting a new phone
