It’s been two weeks since consuming my last energy drink. My personal moratorium on energy drinks has been a rousing success. Absolutely rousing. Absolutely a success. Over the course of the last two weeks, I have managed to avoid purchasing or consuming any energy drink products. The plan involves going 30 days without consuming an energy drink. My days used to be drink free. They can be free of them again.
Earlier today, Joni and I ran out to the Rheinlander Baker in Arvada, Colorado. Last year we purchased John Paul’s first birthday cake from the Marigold Café and Bakery in Colorado Springs. For some reason it always seems like a good idea to buy a birthday cake from a bakery. Someday I may be able to figure out how to buy one of those wild Charm City Cakes products. They always look so amazing on those televised cake shows.
