It is pretty late in the day. My writing routine failed this morning. I simply did not get up in time to spend 30 minutes writing and thinking about the day. Right now I’m getting ready for bed and watching the second game of the NBA finals. This post will represent a 139-day posting streak. Some of the posts might have been useful and other posts were absolutely horrible. Some part of my daily writing routine is about continuity. It is about having an unbroken ongoing narrative that hopefully builds up to something. It is that something that is probably the most problematic. Sure writing every day is about routine. It is about taking the time to really think deeply about things and put those thoughts into a written form. Tomorrow I’m going to buy donuts. That is probably happening.
