Today I did successfully install the Xfinity Flex box which is for streaming TV. Right now the box has no subscription cost and it seemed like a good idea to give it a try. Setup was really easy, but our television is pretty far from the base router limiting the overall speed of the device. That problem of speed had been solved with an extra mesh hotspot for the house wireless internet, but that does not help the Flex box which needs point to point access to the router based wireless internet to work properly.
