Tonight I’m watching the United States vs. Canada hockey match being held in Boston, Massachusetts. Oddly enough my YouTube TV subscription expired today, but the game is actually on the Disney+ service somehow tonight which is awesome. You might recall that based on the Kansas Jayhawks basketball schedule it seemed like a good idea to purchase a month of YouTube TV. It was not a good month of basketball for Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks. It was really a terrible, horrible, generally not good month of basketball. We are midway into the first period so far and the streaming feed has been pretty good quality which is nice. That is powered by my new streaming box. I got one of the Google TV Streamer (4K) boxes and it is connected by ethernet cable to an access point. Overall the streaming bits should be flowing with enough speed to keep the game stable.

I ended up experiencing a weird OneDrive error today, “onedrive: sync delay – you may be experiencing a temporary sync delay due to high service activity.” They should not be selling larger storage accounts and extra storage if they are going to throw errors at you for migrating to a new system and having to download again. They should provide some kind of warning or notice based on the size of the transfer. This sort of situation is highly foreseeable, but they have elected to provide no notice or warning. It’s frustrating.
