Nels Lindahl — Functional Journal

A weblog created by Dr. Nels Lindahl featuring writings and thoughts…

Get ready for a little bit of end of the day blogging. Things are afoot. Writing is about to happen. My big somewhat audacious goal for the day was to refocus on getting things done. It was a reasonable goal. Task competition was to be the name of the game for the day. Even the finest shot (or two) of espresso did not make that happen. Things started slowly and otherwise did not really speed up very much throughout the day. It was a Monday. It was probably the most Monday of any Monday I have experienced in a long time. It was a day where some things happened, but none of it was rapid fire or epic.

I’m trying to figure out why the NHL plays so many late night games. Hockey is not the easiest sport to watch throughout the season. The Colorado Avalanche game tonight starts at 8:30 PM and will go way past my bedtime. I’m going to watch part of the first period. I won’t know who wins the game until the morning. Watching games on the Altitude+ application has worked out well enough recently. I even have it setup on my iPad for those later games like the one that is about to start.
